New Opportunity! Maybe???

I had just received some interesting news on a possible job opportunity and if all goes well, and I pass interviews and stuff like that I just might take it. It could possibly change my other business options I was looking into, but I will keep everyone posted. Exciting, exciting, exciting.

My apologies: I started a blog and didn't give enough information on my business.

I have a property/investment business called VLP Properties and Investments. I know, it is very broad. I did that on purpose because I didn't know at the time how I wanted to approach my business. Anyway I new I want to own house and I wanted to invest in new businesses. I figure the name would do. Now that I have thought about it a lot more I decided I am going to manage a few rental properties of my own and of a few other select people (by reference only) very personalized. I also want to have a Realtor doing real estate deals (still trying to fill that gap, I don't want to be the Realtor). I would like to by investment properties that I can flip quickly (these are to add to some of the properties in my portfolio already). Then my current project; trying to bring my community together in the real estate market all on one web site. It is in the makings right now and I can't wait to see where it is going to go, because I have so many good ideas. Finally, I eventually want to be able to invest in other small business that I think will do good. Not necessarily running them but fronting some capital for part business owner.
That is pretty much my business in a nut shell. Sorry for the long explanation, I tried to make it as understandable as possible.

Business telephone service: VOIP is cheaper and seems really good. Is it???

I am considering using a VOIP service for my business telephone. I use one for my home phone and I really like it. Anyone use VOIP Telephone service for their business??? I am curious as to your thoughts.

Starting out on my own business venture

Why is it that when I make decisions for my new business, it seems to always be the wrong one. I heard that most entrepreneurs fail many times before they become successful, does it always have to be that way?
